Towns are smaller than cities!!!
In drama we played a hard memory-type game and we needed to say the name of a new zealand town. NOT a city! eg we couldn't say Wellington, Auckland or Dunedin but could say Blenheim, Palmerston north etc.

We have a Dunedin in the state of Florida (population 38,000). How big is your Dunedin?

As of 2006, the population was 118683. My friend went there and says it's really boring and there doesn't seem to be anyone under 60.

It sounds like a retirement community! People over 60 like things to be boring, excitement causes too much stress. Laughing

Dunedin, FL is incorporated as its own town but is actually part of a "megalopolis" (a bunch of cities clustered together to make one gigantic one) usually referred to as Tampa/St.Petersburg/Clearwater.

The population is 4,225,000 so there are [too many] people of every age there and more things to do than you can imagine! Shocked

I've been to Clearwater, great beaches! But if you want to do anything in Florida beyond walking on the beach, it helps to have a fat wad of cash (or the equivalent in credit cards). Money

And be prepared to stand in lots of long lines.

Florida is a popular state. Older people like to retire there because it's warm all year. For the same reason families like to vacation there, which is why they created a bunch of theme parks like Disney.

I'm pretty sure there are lots of jellyfish in the waters around Florida. Razz
