Hey guys whats up!?

I must admit I haven't been very active with the yodeling community for a long time now and haven't heard about Ilinca before or listened any other yodelers for a while. Every now and then I check if Taylor Ware has made comeback but thats about it.

Eurovision Song Contest is something I watch every year with my family - it's a tradition already. I never seek info or listen songs before the show because I want it to be surprise. Yesterday was the first time I ever heard about this song and oh boy was it a surprise. Yodeling in Eurovision?, cool!! Romania made it to the finals and I'm happy for them!

Ilinca also reminded me lot of Taylor Ware. Similar look and yodeling style in that Yodel It song. Love it.

I think its time for me to listen some yodeling after a long time break. Loved

Hi Josi! Very Happy

Yes, we've been following Ilinca for a few years, back when she was winning small local talent shows with her yodeling. But now I think she is a big star in Romania, and has fans all over the world. Good for her, she seems like a nice girl!! Very Happy

Taylor has been gone for about 7 years now, but people she inspired are still yodeling. Smile

Congratulations to nunoperalta and Portugal for your first win ever! You have now as much wins as our country have (Lordi 2006)! Very Happy

Portugal's song was genuine and beautiful. Finland gave you full 12 points. Smile

Romania did also well and was 7th. People gave more points to Romania but unfortunately jury didn't. Anyway 7th place is still very good and it was 2nd song ever that included yodeling in Eurovisions long history. Smile

Exciting time for Portugal! Very Happy

The pope was there too, and a half-million people showed up to see him. Shocked

Yes, 7th place is very good for a yodeling song. Lots of talent at Eurovision.

I heard that those cannons were originally planned to shoot glitter and flowers to represent explosion of love and happiness. I guess they couldn't do that because it takes too much time to clean the stage before the next performance. Sad

Hi Josi!

In the USA we call that a "glitter bomb." Not typically used to spread love & happiness but to attack someone without really hurting them.
I wouldn't want to get glitter in my eyes, though. That might hurt! Shocked
