hi guys. i just found the lyrics of Chime Bells. this song is in taylor's 1st album. If you find somewhere wrong, please correct it.

the link: http://www.lpdiscography.com/b/Britt/britt_yodelsongs.htm

isn't this the taylor's version lyrics, right? (because i haven't listen to an complete song except youtube)

Chime Bells lyrics

[ yodel ]
Chime bells are ringing yodel-doo
Mockingbirds singing yodel-dee
Sleep my little lover yodel-doo
Up on a summer's eve
[ yodel ]
Out on a mountain so happy and free
There lived a maid she's waitin' for me
Out on the lake we'll drift with the tide
And hear those chime bells ring

Chime bells are ringing yodel-doo...
[ yodel ]
Moonbeams were shining as I kissed her there
Nightbirds were singing perfume filled the air
Each little star just twinkled with glee
While heaven smiled on me

Chime bells are ringing yodel-doo...
[ yodel ]

Taylor sang Chime Bells with Margo Smith, and the version they did is much different than the 'official' version...

Chime Bells - lyrics
-----------------------------------------------------
(Margo yodels)
Margo- Chime bells are ringing (yodel)
Taylor- A mocking bird singing (yodel)
Margo- Sing a little love song (yodel)
Taylor- Up on a summer's eve
Taylor- (yodel)

Margo- Up on a mountain so happy and free
There lives a boy, and he's waiting for me
Taylor- Out on the lake we'll drift up the tide
And hear those chime bells ring

Margo- Chime bells are ringing (yodel)
Taylor- Mocking bird singing (yodel)
Margo- Sing a little love song (yodel)
Taylor- Up on a summer's eve
Taylor- (yodel)

Margo- (long yodel)
Taylor- (long yodel)

Margo/Taylor- (yodel)

Margo- (speaks, while Taylor yodels) Ahhh, sing it Taylor!!
(After Taylor yodels) Ya, ya, ya!
-----------------------------------------------

I love Margo's voice in this song, she complimented Taylor's voice very well. They are both very distinctive.

right, Bob
Margo was a very good teacher/coach.....

Taylor was one fortunate little girl to have worked with one of the best yodelers and blessed to have her for her teacher

Margo has a beautiful yodel, and is one classy lady!!!!
I love her yodel dearly.

Ah ok! That's good Smile

So, isn't there a complete version of Taylor Ware singing alone?

All I can find is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBBb2S1t8ek

But I thought it was in the CD, as all other songs, that she is in the place, on youtube seem to be playback...

I really love this song!

I don't know if Taylor ever sang Chime Bells alone, the version in your link has lots of edits so who knows what was cut out?

Margo was one of the people who really helped Taylor back when she first learned to yodel. Taylor was only 8 and 9 when she made her first cd, but she was already a yodeling expert! Very Happy

Margo's book and tape are pretty popular in Taylor's Kingdom. Laughing

But after Taylor learned to yodel, she made it even better by listening to and getting advice from lots of other yodelers. She has a long list of yodelers who she has learned from, she did her homework!! Study

Yeah! I also learn allot with other yodelers, and someone on this forum (can't remember the name now) posted here some own voice clips which helped me too.
I'm getting better everyday Smile

My current playlist of everyday has:
Taylor Ware (about 80%)
Oesch
1 music by Jewel (I find her a little boring in other musics :/ - I don't like her yodeling)
1 music by Elton Britt
Lyrebird Yodel (the music that made me in love with yodeling, since 2001 Smile
Alan Jackson (thanks to Little Bitty!)
1 music by Franz Lang
1 music by Kerry Christensen
1 music by Margret Almer
1 music by International Main Street Polka Band
1 music from Nicolas Senn (not really yodeling or singing, but very cool!)

That's a good list! Very Happy Nicolas Senn plays that 125-string instrument, it sounds very cool! I also like Lisa Stoll on the alpine horn, she's on my playlist, along with the yodelers you mention.

Here is Carolina Cotton singing this music.
To be honest, I don't like much this version, but it's good to listen to variations too Smile I still appreciate it!

It's not bad--it just sounds like a totally different song. She makes it sound like cowboy yodeling.

I agree with you about Jewel--I don't particularly like her yodeling.
