No, the horse was over a year ago. (But I still carry the emotional scars.)

The last time I saw Ory was in a restaurant. She was drooling too. Rolling Eyes Laughing

No, I drooled because I was hungry. Eats

The horse just gives me nightmares. But thankfully I don't see too many horses as long as I stay away from the barns at a fair. Shocked

those horse teeth can be a bit scary when they pull up the sides of their mouth - I suspect it's like being bitten by a dog...it's an apprehensive feeling to be near, horse or biting dog

hang in there Bob, not many horses around to bite you

I'm not afraid of dogs, because they're all smaller then me. Doggy

If you give a dog a treat, he will lick your hand. If you give a horse a treat, you may lose your hand! Shocked

The trick is to give the horse a treat WITHOUT sticking your fingers in his mouth......I've given horses many treats, and never got bitten!!

When I used to walk up to them, they knew me, and they would always try and stick their noses in my pocket, because they knew I had an apple for them. Very Happy

isn't part of the secret of a non-bite is to have an open, flat palm the treat is to be taken from??

or maybe that horse didn't like your after-shave brand...LOLOLOL

My hand was open too! But he bit ALL of my fingers! Rolling Eyes

An open palm is ok for a tiny animal, but it doesn't work with something as large as a horse. Ory, you have just been lucky. So far. Razz
