Everybody is Irish on St Patrick's Day, lots of people here wear green and eat corn beef on cabbage, yum!! Lots of green beer too, but they just take regular beer and put green food coloring in it. Or maybe blue? Doesn't blue and yellow make green? Rolling Eyes

Aishani, is year 12 your final year at your school? Here in America year 12 is the final year, and then comes either college or a job, but most students are 18 when they finish year 12, so NZ might be different. Question

Yes, 13 is unlucky, so we call the 1st year kindergarten, and then have 12 years after that. So we really have 13 years, kinda. (Kindergarten is only half days, so is it a half year?)

Aishani, if you have math in unlucky year 13 I will send you a sympathy ecard. Shocked Laughing

We have kindergarten too, so most kids go to to kindergarten when they're 3 & 4, Then start primary school at 5 and go to intermediate at 11 and high school/college at 13 and finish when they're about 18. My primary school was an intermediate as well.

Kindergarten and preschool doesn't count as school.

That's why you have an extra year, kids in America go to kindergarten when they're 4 or 5. But sometimes they have preschool, or even daycare, which they can enroll in the day after they're born, if the parents both work and need a babysitter. Rolling Eyes

I would withhold the sugar, and hope for a long nap time. Maybe the kids would sleep if you made them listen to polkas. Laughing
