Hi garsie! Very Happy

The best way to learn to yodel is to watch videos on YouTube, and practise.

It's just like singing, with a voice flip. Practise will make the voice flips faster and sound better. Start slow, and go up from there. Smile

Here's the most recent yodel instruction video that I can remember seeing...

I don't know what you mean when you say "tabbing it". But I will agree, it's very difficult to copy fast yodeling, because it happens so fast you can't hear the individual sounds. And it's also very difficult to write out the lyrics for yodeling, everybody hears the sounds differently.

All you can do is listen to as much yodeling as you can, and practise. Lots of practise. Smile

Everybody (even Taylor) sounds terrible at first. And many people (like me) will always sound terrible. But if you're good, you will get it eventually. Good luck! Very Happy

tabbing is writing notes to follow on the guitar when your picking.i used the word tabbing as the same as what you said the sounds being written down as words.ie: ad eo jay dee ect.ect. if they were written down then i can read the fomular then try in the voice pattern.

Okay, now I understand. Sometimes YouTube videos will show the lyrics, but they almost never show the guitar chords. If you play a guitar, I don't know where you get this information, especially for yodel songs. Confused

If you want some background music for some older yodel songs, go here...

You can cover any song you want for free. You can play or sing your own version of it. For example, hundreds of YouTubers cover Taylor Swift songs.

But if you want to sell your version, and make money from it, then you will need permission from the person who owns the song (and probably have to pay them a fee).
