Last night while I was on You Tube I came across Naomi Bristow. She is from Canada. She started singing about age 11 and is still going strong at age 17 (ha ha ha). Her last post on YT was about 2 weeks ago. I started listening to some of her videos on there. This lady can do it all.

She can Yodel (I think she is talking about Taylor in video)

She does lots of old classic country

Along with some standard christian music

I just seen where she is coming out with a Christmas album
"Yodelin Christmas". I think the CD comes out today.

I was looking all over yodel forum and did not see any thing about her.
Maybe it was just me and I am not too computer savvy.

Thanks Ferron, I don't think we've noticed Naomi Bristow before. She's been around for a long time, and she's really good! Thanks for the links!! Very Happy

Yes, she's definitely talking about Taylor when she referred to the "book and tape". Taylor made that famous. Razz

A Christmas yodeling cd sounds great!! It's getting to be that time of year.

Until joining this sight I never realized just how many young performers she has directly influenced. Not to mention the joy she has bought to the lives of her fans through her music.

I wish there was a way just to tell her directly.... Thank You.

I think Taylor knows.

Three years ago when she was about to turn 18 we gathered hand-written cards and letters from forum members, including previous forum members, and forwarded them to Taylor in one envelope. I forget how many there were, maybe a dozen? They came from as far away as Europe and New Zealand.

The purpose was to thank her, and to tell her that she still has fans and friends all over the world. Smile

My card was the closest to Taylor. Our homes are 4 hours apart, but she's 55 miles from me at the moment (until she graduates from college).

BTW Mississippi State plays Alabama in a couple of weeks. I'll watch for her in the Alabama crowd. Laughing Rolling Eyes

Alabama already took care of Wisconsin, and I didn't see Taylor in the crowd. Confused

That'd be about right.

I 'see' lots of things that don't exist, and if I actually saw Taylor (or my mom) in the crowd I wouldn't believe myself. Rolling Eyes

With all the world events going on. Russian jet getting bombed over Egypt and the terrorist attack in France. Maybe this is a over simplification but this has never been more true. Thanks Naomi

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving day. I can tell Thanksgiving is almost over because all the Black Friday ads are on the TV non-stop.

I just wanted to start the Christmas season off right. I found this today on You Tube and I love it. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Naomi Bristow does a great job on this song.
